Prof.
Ernest Ojukwu, Project Director Institute of Continuing Legal Education is also the Deputy Director General and Head of Campus Nigerian Law School, Augustine Nnamani Campus Enugu. He was Associate Professor and Dean Faculty of Law Abia State University Uturu 1995-2001. Prof. Ojukwu is a graduate of Obafemi Awolowo University Ile-Ife where he received the Bachelor of Laws and Master of Laws Degrees in 1983 and 1987 respectively.
Prof Ojukwu has published extensively. He is co-author of Introduction to civil procedure, Editor of Nigerian Law and Practice Journal, & Editor-in-chief Nigerian Bar Journal. He is pioneering the development of clinical legal education in Nigeria and is President Network of University Legal Aid Institutions (NULAI Nigeria)- promoting clinical legal education and reform of legal education in Nigeria.
Prof Ernest Ojukwu has interest as a scholar on the subjects of, continuing legal education, civil litigation and access to justice. He plays active role in the professional activities of the Nigerian Bar Association where he presently Chairs the Academic Forum, and Legal Education Committee.
Prof. Ojukwu has conducted several training programmes and workshops for the practicing bar and law teachers; Attended and presented papers at several International conferences including the IBA where he is a member. He was Speaker on Access to Justice: best practices in the design and delivery of Legal Aid: alternative service delivery models, at the International Bar Association Conference Chicago 17- 22 September 2006.
