Mrs. Murna Rachel Makwashi
Mrs. Murna Rachel Makwashi was born on the 13th January, 1954 at Salka in Niger State of Nigeria. She started her Education in 1960, finished her academic pursuit in 1979 was called to the Nigeria Bar in 1980.
She started work with the Sokoto State Ministry of Justice as a Pupil State Counsel and rose to the position of Director, Research Planning and Statistics, as well as the Administrator, General and Public Trustee.
She was appointed the Sole Administrator of Shanga Local Government in 1998 to 1999 in Kebbi State and emerged the best Administrator of the year.
She is an active member of the Nigerian Bar Association, and was a member of the Council of Legal Education for several years. She is a Deputy Director of the Nigerian Law Reform Commission currently serving as a Member of the Governing Board of the Institute of Continuing Legal Education of the NBA.
